  • The unknown era

Change is no longer the interruption. It is the environment.

    The unknown

The world changed. Welcome to the age of the unknown.

Technology accelerated change. The pandemic accelerated us. What worked yesterday can become irrelevant tomorrow. The old playbook was built for a world that no longer exists.

  • The human shift

The world changed. So did the people in it.

    We are others

The world changed. So did we.

Expectations shifted. Priorities moved. Trust became harder to earn. Yet many organizations are still trying to engage the people we used to be.

  • Empowered actors

We are no longer just targets. We are empowered actors.

    We are others

Targeting finds people. Engagement gives them a reason to choose you.

People are not only audiences. They choose, influence, create, mobilize, and act across every role they play and every community they belong to.

  • The silo problem

We live in connections. Organizations still work in silos.

    The silo problem

People are not segments. They live in systems of active connections.

Relationships, interests, communities, and sources of influence become active around every challenge—and shape how people decide and act.

    Discover active connections
  • From communication to engagement

Communication was built for audiences. Engagement is built for empowered actors.

    From communication to engagement

People live connected. Organizations still work in silos.

People experience one organization. The organization responds through Marketing, Corporate Affairs and HR—often separately. The relationship is whole. The strategy is fragmented.

  • Engagement as a system

Engagement is not a channel. It is a system.

    Engagement as a system

Engagement needs something worth engaging with.

Shared Purpose is credible common ground between organizational interests, human relevance, and social expectations. It does not erase tension; it creates a reason to participate.

  • Newlink

A new world needs a new way to engage. Newlink. The engagement company.

    Newlink

Communication can reach people. Engagement earns participation.

Engagement connects meaning, relationships, experience, and action—creating preference, trust, adoption, advocacy, or growth according to the challenge.

    Why engagement?

The integrated agency pitch has a scope problem.

    Newlink

The integrated agency pitch has a scope problem.

The concept challenges the traditional integrated-agency model, where broader capabilities often mean broader scopes and fragmented accountability. Newlink proposes a different approach: see the whole system, but focus only where it matters, understanding the connected consequences of a challenge without making full-service intervention mandatory.

The new role of the CMO: from marketing lead to growth architect.

Today’s CMO can no longer stop at building a brand, defining campaigns or managing communication. In many organizations the role has grown into one of the key figures for understanding the consumer, identifying growth opportunities, connecting different areas of the company around a shared vision and, ultimately, owning the brand’s reputation.

    Reputation and coherence

Our true self always comes to light.

In a world where immediacy and hyperconnection dictate how we consume information, brands and their leaders face a major challenge: sustaining a reputation that rests not on prefabricated narratives, but on the coherence between what is said and what is actually done.

    The engagement paradox

Why must brands change to stay the same?

Years ago, I had the enormous privilege of working with Giorgio Armani on his exhibition at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao. Robert Wilson, one of the great theater artists of our time, created the installation. Imagine the combination: Armani, Wilson, Guggenheim. You might expect spectacle, excess, fireworks.
